CrossFit MPH is an incredible place and I’m thankful to be part of such a supportive and friendly community. For years I went to a big DC gym each morning, working out on my own with machines and free weights. It became routine, and looking back, I realize that I didn’t push myself very hard. The coaches at MPH are first-rate and closely track my weight loads and PRs. They’ve worked closely with me to ensure that my form is correct before increasing my weight load, and they have helped me improve my range of motion. The infinite combinations of workouts that MPH programs and the expert coaching ensures that I’m being pushed to my limits and getting the most out of each workout. I’ve never been in better shape, and I owe that to the MPH coaches—thank you!

I wanted to write a few lines to thank you for all the support you have given me over the last few years in general but, in particular, for the marathon this last Sunday. Personally, running a marathon was a big milestone for me, so I thought the Marine Corps Marathon was a good excuse to share a few lines with you that are probably long overdue.
I think no training could have prepared me physically or mentally more than working out at MPH for the last few years. You have made me reach levels of physical intensity that I was certain I couldn’t get even close to and a mental strength to keep going when I feel that I have not much more to go on that keeps surprising me.
I feel really lucky that, by pure chance, I ended up being part of this great MPH community that you have built. It has given me much more than just the best physical form I’ve ever had. It has given me very good friends.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you all as a group and individually for such an amazing year. I am constantly surprised and elated with how you’ve helped me grow and challenge myself. Your patience and encouragement has gone a long way.
You’ve helped me understand that the limits of one’s body aren’t always what they seem. You have all built something special and important with MPH. I’m looking forward to more productive years going forward. So again, my thanks and appreciation for your hard work and dedication.

I was in DC over the weekend and contacted CrossFit MPH in hopes of ‘dropping-in’ (wanted to complete ‘14.2’). I chose their box because they were open early and their webpage was well put together.
From their initial email response, to the greeting when I walked in the door, to the advice re: technique, to the SUPPORT I received from everyone when I completed the WOD…all were AWESOME (on top of all of that, I got an email from the owner letting me know I had left my gloves there)!
Thanks for the kind hospitality. If I lived in DC, I would be a member of your place!

I am SO jazzed at doing my first handstand pushups tonight!!! I’m literally walking around feeling 3 inches taller. Kudos to you for creating the kind of atmosphere where I feel safe enough to really experiment and push myself. I am always SO elated at every small improvement, or when I can land a major breakthrough—like tonight’s! Thank you for all that you do!
