This Saturday, October 17, Steve D. is competing in the Mid-Atlantic Hopper Challenge. This is an amazing event, and one that we hope to participate in the next time it comes around. If you find yourself in the Baltimore-Annapolis corridor, or if you are looking for a great way to spend your Saturday, head to CrossFit BWI and cheer Steve on.

Good luck Steve! Represent MPH for us. JW
Crush it Steve…and bring one home for the team.
Thanks for the plug guys!
I have three goals:
1. Stay Healthy (don’t get hurt)
2. Completely empty the tank during each of the 3 events – I can’t answer yes to the question, “could I have pushed harder?”
3. No DNF’s or DFL’s (did not finish, or dead fucking last). Last year I got a DNF on an event that called for double unders- the shame was an excellent motivator to practice them!
-the first event will be a strength test (shaking fist as if rolling dice – “c’mon OH squats and please no OH press!”)
-second will be a triplet or a couplet (there will be no named wod’s drawn)
-third will be a chipper
I need an MPH shirt!
I’ll post news on this site as it arises.
Keep Squattin’!
Steve D.
Steve –
The word of the day is “rawr.” Use liberally.
Good luck, man. Kill it.
Mike
Good luck! And you do need a t-shirt!
Go get ’em, Steve! I can’t be there in person, but know that I will be there in spirit cheering you on. I look forward to hearing how it went.

Sounds like a great time, Steve. Enjoy it!
Good Luck Steve!
thanks 7a for all your cheering this morning! i’m going to count completion of today’s WOD without box jump induced panic attack or death (or falling down and causing giant bruises) a success!
Thanks Jen for being my box jumping buddy this morning. It helped to do it with someone who has the same mental issues with the box as I do. And neither of us face planted or in other ways injured ourselves! Sucess!

Rob – nice job on the metcon today.
Thanks. You too! After four straight days, I’m painfully aware of the location of every muscle in my body. Ouch.
GOOOO STEVE.. Show ’em what MPH is made up (and if you have time get a manicure apprently it helps).
But I jest, GOOD LUCK! And ya, you need a shirt!
Good Luck Steve! Knock em dead! We’re rooting for you.
Good luck, Steve!
Steve you’ll do great!
