    Okay, so I did my first workout at CrossFit Montclair…


    for time:
    1 mile run
    100 pull-ups
    200 push-ups
    300 squats
    1 mile run

    For the pull-ups they use rubber bands of various elasticities…you put a foot in the loop, hang and it assists the pull-ups.

    Using the band, it was nice to really get a feel for doing pull-ups within a WOD. I was quite unprepared for the lung burn that came from working out in a cold garage and running outside, but it felt good.

    The coach suggested I do half the WOD, considering the new workout conditions and new WOD.


    1/2 mile run, then
    10 rounds:
    5 pull-ups
    10 push-ups
    15 squats
    then, 1/2 mile run

    Time: 36:06

    And John, I told him to keep an eye out for you in June…you’re gonna really like the facility…

    30 min as Rx’d (sub parl bar dips) but I think i messed up…well I know I did, I did push press instead of shoulder press but didn’t think about it till after round 2…does that count?
