Clearly you are having too much fun in Laos. We’re going to mail you a cardboard cutout of Coach in order to keep you focused.

Wow. Mike’s effort was impressive, no doubt.

Rebekka, however, knocked out the second-fastest overall time of the day just a moment ago, which also happened to be the most technically proficient effort so far. There was not one “garbage” rep: all squats were below parallel and reached full hip extension, all pushups were chest and hips to the floor, each jump and reach was a maximum effort, and each burpee was perfectly vertical at the top (in hip extension, torso position and shoulder flexion). That was awesome, Rebekka—truly the perfect blend of accuracy and intensity. Great job.

Rebekka and a legend is born 🙂 good job!

And Mike, I’m not having THAT much fun, it’s hard enough trying to stay up with jet lag and meetings with foreign authorities..as for a life size cutout of Coach..do you want me to have nightmares?

We might not have a place to workout tomorrow, folks. Amy and Mel just set the bottom floor ablaze. She rose above your challenge, Mikey. And I daresay, it wasn’t even close…

Rebekka’s effort still stands, by the way. Nobody’s looked as good as she did.

Neil, I like your new moniker. The only thing better than a lifesize cutout of John is a lifesize cutout that includes a voicebox attached to a handle. Upon pulling, the cutout emphatically announces that you have to “MOVE FASTER!!”

    I will start production today.

The security cameras probably caught it, Mike. Otherwise, it’s running on the loop in my head.

Neil—do they mark time faster in Laos, or something? Is it one-and-a-half seconds there for every American second?

    Coaches,

Don’t look now, but there might be some, dare I say, “athletes” in the group. Clearly, the ladies (led by Mel) kicked ass today.
