Is a carry done holding the ball on a treadmill? And in the sequencing of clean, thruster, slam, burpee sans jump or clap, is it a continuous flow; i.e. move from the clean into the thruster, slam the ball from over head, and is the burpee done without the ball? What would be a good time to get the ball on Tuesday if you don’t have a personal session scheduled? Thanks, Ted

    Thanks Ted,

The carry is done holding the ball on treadmill, while moving as fast as you can. The sequence is continuous, and the burpee is performed on the ball. Anytime after 830a should work—we’re gone at 1130a.

Everyone: it dawned on me that although the blog has brought us much close together (a good thing!), i still don’t know who everyone is. i never see many people because our scheduled workout times never coincide. also, people put down their names and times, but i have no idea if these are good performances for any particular person because i don’t know what people’s baselines are.

So, in order to put faces with a names, and to foster group recognition of personal achievements, how would you all feel about setting up a “profile” page where everyone puts up a picture, and maybe some basic stats (e.g. max lifts and times for popular workouts)? Of course, anyone who wasn’t interested would not have to do it, and of course, our coaches may think this is a terrible idea for some reason… just putting it out there…

    Mike,

    Great idea!

Maybe our coaches can throw a BBQ or something too. It would be nice to see everyone in a normal setting unlike the near death state we usually see each other in.

I agree, its a great idea, especially since, Mike, I think I passed you on the street the other day and didn’t say hi because I wasn’t sure it was you…haha

Count me in, as well, for social gathering(s) and a profile page.
