–rest 5 minutes–
as many complexes* as possible in five minutes:
turkish get-up + overhead squat @ 55/35-lbs.
*1 complex = left turkish getup + left overhead squat + right turkish get-up + right overhead squat

This workout is scored by the both the total points from part one and part two.
–Scores–
Mayra C.: 4, 4 (50-lb. thruster, 15-lb. complex)
Rebekka E.: 4, 3 (65-lb. thruster, 20-lb. complex)
Jeff W.: 4, 3 (95-lb. thruster, 40-lb. complex)
For the complex, I’m a little confused about how the squat fits in with the turkish getup. If I’m lying down, is it stand up, squat and then ly down again with the dumbell overhead the whole time to complete the complex?
Also, believe it not, I was up at 7:30 am this morning checking the site and wondering where the heck the workout was. 🙂

Jenn,
You are correct. Do the positive portion of the turkish get-up, squat, then do the negative portion. Then do the other side. That’s one repetition.
Also, we usually post Saturday’s workout at 10:00a.
