RAWR!

I thought I had more in me than 270.
There’s no shame in 270. Maybe yesterday’s double WOD had something to do with it?

It was another great morning at MPH. Today, there was a minor dispute over scaling yesterday’s workout and the ensuing results. In the end, Mike claimed that if he was using 58 percent of his body weight like Jessica did yesterday, that he could finish the workout in under seven minutes.
That was all the prompting we needed, so we immediately loaded the bar with 90 pounds, pulled a 24-inch plyo box out, and Mike was off—to a time of 9:05. That wasn’t quite under seven minutes, because box jumps are always slow, but he did rip off about a 5:15 mile to close out. This was at 8a, no less: Mike came in at 6a for the deadlift workout and stayed at 7a for some kettlebell and pull-up work.
We’re not crazy enough to think this is going to happen everyday, but between Jeff’s double WOD yesterday and Mike’s 150-minute session today, it’s been a fun 36 hours.

I def enjoyed being a spectator in Mike pulling it off. Great job.
This morning was a lot of fun! I gotta get back on my deadlift partner’s level. I was a little off this morning but I am coming back for you Tamra.

Hey coaches, I do not have the proper outfit, and I can see I will no have time for get it in my house, but I wish I can do this workout in your last class at six… Will be weird if I do the WOD in bermudas and bare feet?
Lol it’ll only be weird if ur not drinking piña coladas between WOD. Enjoy.
Mike you are my hero. Nice job! I can’t wait to get there after I finish yet another vacation. 😉
