This picture was taken during our “Fran” experiment last week (from left: Cari D., Jenn J.). That workout led Cari, in the sixty-second round of thrusters, to pick up the bar and ask, “Where is the puke bucket?! I just want to know…”
Thankfully, CD did not need this receptacle, although that was one of the funniest and most inspiring moments that we have ever had (especially if you know her like we do). Also, Cari did not put the bar down once the entire workout. So, all this to say: we are proud of you, Cari.
“Four-ten”
for time:
two rounds; rest one minute between rounds,
tabata burpee*
+ 1-mile run
*One Tabata round is eight rounds of 20 seconds of maximum work, followed by 10 seconds of rest. There is no rest between the second Tabata round and the one-mile run.
This workout is scored by both the time and the least number of repetitions completed for each, eight-set Tabata round.
BRING IT ON!!!!!!
Nice Stu—love the intensity. Also, your posts this week have been top notch. Keep it up.

Thanks guys! Yep, thrusters are my friend…at least that’s what I try to convince myself. 🙂 I’m still in Chicago and look forward to getting back to MPH next week.

#?!#%! Yoga!!! That workout was so transcendental I swear I was levitating on the walk home. Only bad thing is that I can’t find my sneakers now. Anyone seen a pair of Pumas on Church Street?
