Oh YEAH!!!! I feel the love on this one. I think I have found my WOD.

Michelle: You must show up…AND please do NOT count these burpees as your total for the day so as to be part of your amazing Challange…be brave and be strong. But, what am I saying, of course you’ll be there tomorrow. (By the by…kudos to Michelle who hit the 50 Burpee mark today!!)

Steve: I have an excuse – I was degraded today by revealing my lack of flexibility with the snatch and forced to PVC it – and as such should seriously consider just stretching as a substitute to this workout. Or, perhaps a gentle massage and facial.

Rob: Prepare my friend. Your going down. Even if you are not with me tomorrow in class I will trash talk my way into your psyche and reveal your weakness. Keep my smiling face in your head…and let’s see who is, this one day, The Mambo Jambo. (I am not sure what a Mambo Jambo is but it sounded really good and I am sticking with it.)

Cari: Where the hell are you? Missed you today and could have used your support. Hello?

    Stu, I’ll definitely be there – 5pm! (Sorry, 7am)

Not only will I be ready for the burpees, but I’m very eager to erase my standing score on this WOD (4.29). I am planning to shave off several minutes today.

So very unhappy with my outcome on today’s WOD(s). I identified some weaknesses (particularly abdominal strength!) for sure, but I went back to the April times, and I was actually 2 minutes SLOWER today. Yikes! I think it’s time for Ivy to do the burpee challenge

Also- I’m posting something in Paleo support today, so check it out.

Austin and Rob: just seven rounds next time, not nine. Seriously. Not nine.

Congratulations Kris, Amy, Jessica, Dave, Jeff and Charles for surviving today’s finisher—WOD #2—in its entirety.

Add Joanna, Steve and Jason to the list of WOD #2 (we need a name for this thing) survivors. Great job.

Congratulations are also in order to Tamra (-1:03), Mayra (-4:02), Joe (-0:30), Michelle (-11:00), Jen M. (-5:00) and Neil (-0:46) for improving their scores since last time.

Michelle, I am so proud of you. I remember the day we had to do 150 burpees for time. You looked so defeated (for a lack of a better word) by the task at hand. Now you are dropping double digits off your burpee break-down, more then half-way through your burpee challenge, and re-arranging your schedule to make sure you get a shot at Fran.

I just wanted to give a shout out to all your hard work. Keep it up! 🙂

Ugh. I am back from NH and I have a head cold that just won’t quit. So pissed b/c I really wanted a piece of this workout (and Mel’s 4:57). DAMN I MISS WORKING OUT!

Hope to see you all soon.

Stu’s trash talking must have got in my head today. And Austin’s as well. I guess he was just collateral damage. The two of us “pulled a Neil” as they say around here. Both of us forgot to count and ended up doing a couple of extra sets. Basically, I was banking on Austin counting for me and ending when he ended. It was a great plan, except Austin was doing the same thing with me. So yea, a couple extra sets is what happens.

That’s it. I demand testing for performance enhancing drugs!! C’mon Rob, Nine rounds in 7:02?? Dude… Seriously, that was one hell of a score and I am humbled. I mean: today I am humbled. And only today. You are the Mambo Jambo.

And trust me, seven rounds is much harder than nine. I had no chance to get into a rhythm. If I had been able to do nine rounds I think I would have crushed your score.

Tomorrow. I am usually at peak performance on Wednesday as I get a manicure in the morning. C’mon after ya.

Thanks, but Austin gets the Mambo Jambo award for today, as he was almost a full round ahead of me. I think I’m like 10 years older however, so I’m claiming a moral victory.
