A Classic!!!! Let the games begin!

I here ya Steve…can’t sleep for the excitement. Everyone. I mean everyone needs to make this happen. I am going for under 10 minutes….sounds lame but would be a huge jump for me.

5:00PM…Cari, Michelle, the rest…let’s get it on with Fran….

Oh no! I hadn’t planned on coming in tomorrow. Since I’ve never offically done Fran, I feel like I need to rearrange things to make this happen.

Stu, I won’t make it to 5pm. Will miss you guys. I’ll see if I can get to a 6pm or 7pm. TBD

Shout out to the 7:00 a.m. girls- you all rocked doing the Rx weight, some for the first time! I’m looking forward to getting off the bands in the next few weeks and having no (_) behind my name on the next Fran.

I wanted to give a special thanks to Mel and the 7 am crew for their support today. I confess that I almost let the thrusters get the better of me physically and mentally (my max a month ago was 70 lbs.). I learned that conditions are not always optimal for peak performance. But I know that today’s challenge made me stronger in every respect.

We’re trying to run a CrossFit here—serious business, you know—it’s “Fran,” and you guys are writing about manicures. And Neil hasn’t even posted yet today.

I will now light myself on fire.

OK, I will insist that they use black nail polish then.

            Got a light?

The best part about this WOD is that it’s over. I can’t think of a second best thing.

I tend to get “Fran-nesia” when it’s over, and I forget how hard it was because I’m so amped up. The bark is worse than the bite, IMHO.

I knew today was gonna be a great day when I pulled out of my garage on Church St. at 8:35AM and the first person I see is Rob, in a head-up fetal position on the sidewalk dripping in sweat – exhausted. He was mumbling when I stopped to say hello..and, as I leaned forward to listen closely, he asked me “if I could see the pretty rainbow with the little dancing unicorns flying above it?”

Nice work Rob…great score. You should be proud.

Just got my manicure. I am ready for the bitch at 5PM.

Thanks. As I remember it, you were riding by in some tricked-out brand-new SUV. I thought I heard Flo-Rida playing from your oversized speakers. And the flash from your rims momentarily blinded me. That was probably the reason for my inability to put together a coherent sentence.

By the by…I must be getting old. I had to google Flo-Rida.

    Rob,

I have decided that if the world goes to shit in a hellbasket the three essential things I am taking for survival are a shotgun, a good pair of boots, and you. You define the term “unfuckwithable.” Just finished my first ever “as prescribed” Fran and there can be no other words to say then you fucking smoked and humbled me.

And yes, I saw the rainbow and unicorns.

Thanks, but I think you should bring Dave instead. Although does Dave know how to make pemmican? It is good for survival AND tasty!

Dave: pemmican or not, very nice.

Had I known manicure would have made a difference I’ve done that instead of my facial. Guess Fran isn’t scared of a lil beauty even if John is. πŸ™‚

Great work Meg and Rob. U were def an inspiration today.
