    Steve,

That was one fantastic recap. I expected just a brief ranking and overview….instead you made me feel as if I was with you all day! Inspiring stuff.

Next time we should all work to either attend this (or the like event) as support or, better yet, to compete.

My favorite part was your “grabbing your blankie for a nap.” I just can’t imagine you having a “blankie.”

Is there a DB version of this WOD that I can adapt? The closest thing to a plate I have in my hotel is the one I just had delivered with my room service: kinda light and fragile.

      Stu,

Sure–use two 20-lb. dumbbells, and do dumbbell cleans.

Thanks; trial starts Wednesday morning in Greenbelt, leaving tomorrow to set up camp in hotel for four days. Planning on burpees between witnesses.

Steve, thanks for the great post yesterday and great job this weekend.

As a heads up to everybody, be careful on the crosswalk at 15th and church. After the 8 AM WOD on my way home, 3 of 4 cars stopped and waved me out, the 4th was a cab on the far side that hit me going about 30 mph. I jumped up and rolled off the hood, but he drilled my bike about 6 feet underneath a parked truck. 6 inches to the back and my leg would have been crushed, so I’m assuming I was being wathced over by little angels. Also a good reason to crossfit: cause you never know what life is going to throw at you. Also, this is why we wear helmets. See y’all in the AM on Tuesday!

Joe, are you ok? You should go to the doctor just to be sure.
If anything starts to ache, you know that about 1/3 of the MPH clients are lawyers. Don’t hesitate to ask.

Steve-congratulations! I really enjoyed reading your recap. It is true that no one gets to the top without a fight.

Jess- you’re like a gazelle. Great job today!

    What’s a single leg burpee?

I’m fine, all. Thanks for asking though. Didn’t go to the doctor, as I didn’t hit my head on anything and feel fine. Made the cab driver take me back to my house πŸ™‚

Mel – Thanks for keeping me honest during the WOD today.

Steve – Nice job this past weekend. I really enjoyed reading your post. What an accomplishment (and inspiration).

Joe – You are badass. So glad you’re ok. Way to regulate and demand a ride home from the cabbie. You told him! πŸ™‚
