Really liked this WOD more than I thought I would. Because it is mentally challenging, and a bit longer than other workouts, I found it easier to get into good self motivation and “the zone.” Congrats to the whole 7 a.m. group- especially those of you with double unders. You killed it! Oh, and I got to be there to see Amy finish the 6 a.m. class. She did amazing, finishing off with the double unders in a flash. Great job.

Thanks for the encouragement, but one at a time didn’t seem like a flash. I really meant to practice double unders since we last attempted them. However, good intentions aren’t good enough to tack together multiple double unders. I will get out that jumprope and nail these yet!

Thanks. The burpees are the worst. Whoever initially developed this WOD was evil to put them towards the end.

Fantastic workout – mad props to Stulu who really hung in there – and props to the 5 pm gang who did bonus burpees to help super stu finish the WOD

I THINK i got knees to elbows, ask Mel, and I’m sure I had Double Unders!

I am at a loss for words. Probably because I am still not breathing. Which is proof that one can go just fine for hours without breathing. I have always been an aficionado for moments in life. Defining seconds of awareness. And I will not soon forget being surrounding in a circle by others as I was verging on showing everyone what I had for lunch. Today was about going further, digging deep, and above all else – for me at least – the beautiful moment of “community” coming together to get my ass off the ground and jumping in the air. I was actually humming “We Are The World” on my 48th burpee. Did you hear me? I was trying to sound like Bono. But I think I sounded more like Aretha Franklin.
