ooof. virtual shoveling. one of those moves that makes you look like an idiot and leaves you completely ruined. wait a sec….i just described my last girlfriend!

anybody see the post “10 things i believe” on the affiliate blog? some real good stuff there.

if i may (please chime in) :

i believe that crossfit has improved my life immensely, but it is NOT my life
i believe that crossfit makes people better
i believe that smart people with balls do the wod
i believe that processed CHO will some day have the same stigma that cigarettes have today, if america wakes up.
i believe that people bond through shared suffering
i believe that things gained easily are not worth celebrating
i believe that crossfit women are the hottest women, hands down
i believe that mockery is jealousy thinly veiled
i believe that we need to return to our genetic roots, both in eating and in activity
i believe that training for aesthetics is shallow and unexpressive.
i believe that the true heroes of crossfit are the people who painstakingly whittled their arnf time from 20 minutes down to eight, not the ones who got sub 5 on their first try. they are the formerly obese, addicted, sedentary, not the ones who have been doing gymnastics from age three. my heroes are the ones who struggled for weeks or months to get their first chinup, not someone who can do Mary as rxed from the start. my heroes are the ones who have gotten themselves off blood pressure or diabetes medication, not the ones who can eat pizza, burgers and fries and STILL crush the wod. i look up to people whose ability comes from years of hard work and diligent attention to nutrition and rest, who gut it out every goddamn day just for the sake of self improvement.

ok, that was eleven. and i kinda went off on that last one.

    keep squattin’!
