Still In LA…stuck here until Thursday now. Tired of ad-hoc hotel gym workouts. Tired of ad-hoc hotel gym workouts at 10:00PM. TIred of watching people do Bicep curls. Tired of missing all of these great WODs! I want to come home…
But, I am an amazing optimist: So, the good news is that the weather is wonderful here – my milky white skin is tanned a golden bronze (or it seems like it is when I do Burpees in the mirror), I went shopping at Martin Margiela on Sunday and I have dropped to a size 34 pant, I have yet to come down with Swine Flu, Spectravision has an entire new line-up of porn for November at my hotel, I only have three parking tickets thus far, I am in the land of carb-less dining – as a matter of fact there are rumors that LA may change its name to Paleowood, Lindsey Lohan has not rear-ended my Buick LeSabre, and, finally, people here just think my hairstyle is the result of driving a convertible.
All of this and I still miss everyone at MPH. Can’t wait to be back.

i braised a goat leg today (it was cooking during class, actually) for the gathering on sat. you all will be lucky if i can restrain myself from eating it all tomorrow. the sauce is crazy good, and the meat is fall-off the-bone tender.(and its grass fed)
