Look, StuLu: a workout you can do outside, or virtually anywhere.

Go fast today, team, and we’ll see you on Tuesday.

I did it earlier this morning, but I couldn’t find my stop-watch, so I don’t know my time. I saw Neil walking his dog and tried to get him to join me in some broad jumps down Church St, but to no avail.

Remember to warm up before doing this. I just did a 400m jog before getting started and it wasn’t enough.

    WU- pull up ladder (partner assist up to 3 3 x’s, then 5 negatives); back squat 45×5, 95×5, 105×3, 135×3, 185×3.
    WOD

Dan did this with me, scaled- no push ups 17:29. I was really proud of him. He’s such a better athlete than me, but hasn’t realized it.
I should add we did this on a real track at the US Naval Academ, which made it faster. Also, I tried some of the POSE technique a few of us talked about the other day. No heel strike, faster turnover, no straight leg hitting the ground, and a slight lean. It was a tremendously different running experience for me. In all, a good training day!

Realized last night that I am, in fact, not so good at reading. I only did one round. Grrr.

Amy and Sean: Thanks for joining me on Church St for the WOD…it was way better as a mini-team! Too bad we didn’t get a photo of us all sprawled on the sidewalk doing push-ups.

    Time: Combined 27:29 (13:20 and 14:09)
