A word of thanks to my Crossfit family.

Back in the October/November time frame I posted a note regarding my employment situation. An unfortunate series of events led me to seek new employment. While the past few months have been filled with emotional highs and lows, uncertainty and anxiety and a good dose of humility, I have maintained that everything happens for a reason.

Tomorrow I start a new job at The Washington Post. I am very excited about this opportunity and I very much look forward to beginning a new chapter in my career.

Through all of the ups and downs of the past couple months the one constant, besides a loving family, has been my training and the fellowship of my Crossfit family. I want to thank all of you for your support and words of encouragement during the past few months. There are a few of you in particular that I owe a debt of gratitude…I will not mention names as I think you know who you are.

I consider myself blessed beyond my wildest expectations to be part of such an incredible community.

Again, a heartfelt thanks and as Steve D would say…Keep Squat’n!

    Dave O.
