I’m pretty sure it means that guy is high as a kite. Surely he doesn’t really love rainbows that much. Right? Right???

Robb Wolf links to this (http://rawfoodsos.com/2010/07/07/the-china-study-fact-or-fallac/) critique of the China Study, which found that eating animals and animal products is bad for you. I haven’t read the China Study, but the critique is pretty damning. Here is a selective summary:

The critique focuses on the correlation between meat consumption and cancer, but also addresses correlations with heart disease and other negative health outcomes. As in the last study I posted, meat consumption is positively correlated with risk of stroke, but uncorrelated or negatively correlated with most other negative health risks, including cancer and heart disease.

Notably, the author of the post points out that wheat is associated with dramatically worse health outcomes than meat consumption. And, of course, fish gets a shout-out as the healthiest of meats.

All this is good news for us Paleoites, but remember, a correlation does not a causation make.

Thanks to your great coaching, Mel and BK, I achieved something that I had long thought was out of my reach. I am looking forward to more practice and perhaps stringing a couple together.

This truly made my day. Thank you.

By the way Dave: I keep wanting to blame my weakness on squats as a result of the length of my legs. That is, of course, until I think of you and realize that in fact I have no excuse at all. Thanks for continuing to set the benchmark for tall and over 40 guys a bit higher and a whole lot tougher. You are the man!
