      K,

Thank you for the (Paleo) cookies. Also, what happened to your “Gravatar” thing? Did you feel it was some tacit endorsement of grains and/or cereal?

    John,

    Finally!

You are absolutely correct with the new tag line. None of us “tries” to be sexy. We just are. I, for one, have given up trying to hide the natural grace and beauty that I project. I tried to wear baggy cotton shirts to hide my glistening pecs but everyone sees through these useless attempts and scoffs at my humility. I am so happy to see that as a community we have come together to go ahead and embrace the burden of sexiness that is the result of MPH programing. To not be embarrassed by it anymore! To yell back at people that “hey, we are not trying to be sexy…we just can’t help it that we look so good.”

Can we do naked sprints on Church St as a “coming out” of this new acceptance?

True indeed, StuLu. Chudy brought this all to our attention last night when, prior to de-shirt-ting, professed the heat as the cause—not that he was “…trying to be sexy.”

Speaking of trying to be sexy, in honor of your departure tomorrow, I was actually going to send Mel over to your favorite store this afternoon to get me one large t-shirt (you didn’t really think I would walk in there, did you?). Just one. No foolin’. I was going to wear it during your last class and then probably clean the gym with it, or something. That’s how far I would go for you, StuLu. That is, until further research revealed they monger $48 t-shirts. Again, no foolin’. So, I think I’ll just shave my head instead.

You’re going to miss my curmudgeon charm. It’s ok—I won’t make you say it.

        John,

I’ll take the Lululemon shirt when you’re done cleaning the gym with it. I need it to replace the suffocating polyester blend T-shirt I had on (briefly) yesterday.

    Crossfit OBX
3 rounds – 45 seconds of work followed by 15 seconds of rest:
    Row
    Inchworms
Shoulder to shoulder (approx. 65lb weighted bag)
    Medicine ball slam (20 lb)
    KB thruster
Beat the tire (20 lb weighted bat)
    Body row
    Rope pull
    Overhead squat (45lbs)
    Box jump (30 in)
    KB broadways
    Wall ball (20 lb)
    KB good mornings
    Tire flip
    Weighted sit ups (20 lbs)

I couldn’t tell what all of the weights were (especially the KBs), so I just did the max weight at each station. I’ve labeled the weights I can remember.

Tremendous, Alex—one of my favorite (travel) posts of all time. You couldn’t tell what the weights were so you just grabbed the heaviest things they had. That’s how we roll.

      Well done.

Stulu, tomorrow was going to be my rest day, but I couldn’t be away from the gym for your “last” WOD. I’m starting the party off at 6am. John says that it will be a f***fest. Sounds fun.

    Hey gang,

Not sure if you all have seen this, but this site is pretty cool. You can customize every aspect of your protein or post-workout blend.

I just ordered a custom blend 1) for post workout (mix of carbs, protein, and electrolytes), and 2) blend of slow and fast-digesting proteins to add to shakes during the day and eve.

    http://www.proteinfactory.com

If the site is overwhelming for you like it was for me, you can call the number and ask for Alex. He can help you decide what to order.

I’ll let you know what I think of the products once I get them.

-I may have to get up early to come in and see what tomorrow’s WOD looks like from the perspective of a spectator. I will be doing it myself at 6:00PM as (Sorry T.) StuLu never WODS before 11:00AM as it wreaks havoc on my morning deep facial cleanse and moisturizing base.

-Rob makes a great point here. The biggest news for tomorrow is that Christy leaves for LA to make a stand. This is your time Christy…take em down!

It always happens. NOW the girls of MPH are finally starting to give me some credit. Today I had Anna shouting to me from behind as I squatted; “You look glorious StuLu…glorious.”

And, I am pretty sure that a few others were undressing me with their eyes.

NO. You cannot tempt me ladies. This time I must go. (But don’t stop trying…please.)
