I also wanted to thank Ivy and Rob for all their help today!
Thanks to Mel and BK and all the 8am crowd for the support today. After a number of WODs where my times were regressing a bit, it feels great to break through with a sudden improvement. Big congrats to Jeremy for a huge PR today as well!
at Indy Crossfit:
800m run
3 rounds
12 bodyweight deadlifts (sub: 135lbs)
21 pullups
36 double unders
then 800m run
31:40
At Indy Crossfit they have what they call “Suffer on Saturday” every Saturday. Jeff, the owner, told me when I was checking in that only their “more experienced and hardcore” crossfitters tended to come in on Saturdays (great… no wonder I was the last one done – by the way, I highly don’t recommend using a pull-up bar wrapped in tape… poor torn hands).
Everyone there was very nice and actually stuck around to cheer me along when I was the only one still going… though I was thinking some company on my last 800m run might have been nice. and I got to leave a little MPH on their signature wall 🙂
