    Thanks, guys. Not gonna lie, I’ve wanted this one for a while, so I’m pretty f’ing pumped to finally get it.

    To add just a bit of perspective, when I started elements back in September I think I may have been able to muster up 3 pullups…maybe. The improvements I’ve seen over the past year have blown my wildest expectations away. One of the best things about this place has to be that you can never run out of things to set your sights on. Any time I hit a goal it just makes me want something else even more. That’s such an awesome feeling that I think gets lost on so many people that don’t have something like this, who are just trying to maintain day in, day out. And the community, wow. I try to explain this place to people, but I can never do it justice.

    John, Mel, BK, I probably don’t say this enough, but Thank You. I was trying to think of an elegant way to put this, but “you guys are the shit” pretty much sums it up.

    Also, just wanted to remind people, registration for the mid-atlantic hopper opened yesterday. It is a lot of fun and a great opportunity for high level competition in a lower pressure situation. They will scale the wods if necessary as well. Its on November 6. I’m going!

    i just signed up for the m-a hopper too. hopefully by then one of two things will happen: either i will be able to do at least one muscle-up during a workout or there will be no muscle-ups in the hopper wods 🙂 either way it sounds like fun!

    Ryan, my coach here at CFA, is the guy behind this event. He told me tonight that there are only 16 spots left…and they are going fast. Get on it tonight! I am pretty sure that I will be there…to cheer, to rally, to bring fashion sense to Baltimore.
