    Confessions of a Crossfitter: I am feeling a little burned out, and it’s starting to show. This morning was one thruster better than the time I did this in 2009. One. Thruster. Not hero material. I apologize for my lackluster attitude and fear-laden, bad attitude performances as of late. It brings us all down.

    So, in an effort to not make excuses, I am committing to getting out of my head and just having fun and hopefully kicking some a$$ in the process. Despite sometimes over-thinking things, and being really, really hard on myself, the workouts, the gym, and hanging with you guys constitute the best part of my day!

    Ivy, your presence has NEVER brought me down at wodtime. Quite the opposite in fact.

    One thing that sometimes helps me try to keep my head on straight(and I know damn well that I am still prone to losing my shit midwod) is not paying attention to my previous bests. All that really matters is that we are pushing as hard as we can, RIGHT NOW. The best cue I ever got was being told that the goal was not to beat the clock, but to move as fast as possible.
