split jerk

then, as many repetitions as possible in five minutes:
single-arm snatch + clean + jerk (alternating, total) @ 55/35-lbs.
This workout is scored by the total repetitions completed.
mmmmmmm It’s time to put some weight overhead. I’m not scared anymore. I’m not sure I have a PR in this, but I’m in the mood to crush it. Is it noon yet?
Well…no crushing was involved… but that is 5 more lbs than I’ve ever had overhead, so I’ll take the small victory today 🙂 That 190 area seems to be a bit of a mental ceiling at the moment. It will crack…soon.

Um, yeah. Not thrilled about this. But for you, Mr Main? Here ya go. I’ll have to earn my way out of it.
Strong work Joe!
That. Is. Awesome.
All other handles/avatars: bow before Chef Joe.
John
Ok, ok. My top five (must have handle and picture to be eligible):
1. Joe “The Diesel”
2. LB “Teenage Dream”
3. Adam “ChuderFace”
4. T “That’s What She Said”
5. John S. “Droz”
Honorable mention: Neil “Tink”
You could crack that list with a better picture, Hugus. Maybe you could go with one of Bob Sanders, but only you, Jenny and I would get it.
John
Also, I feel like Bates, K-Lo, Special K and a few others are on the cusp of greatness here.
John
so, what i’m hearing is, that i have to fully embrace the muppet nickname to even make the list? just the avatar’s not enough? 🙁
maybe we can make that happen… (though definitely still not as funny as joe’s, above)
And all this time I figured you didn’t watch football.
Oh, and I take correlation between Bob and I to be a positive one, even though I know you are referring to the 50% of his time spent off the field.
Meep to that, Jen. Meep.
MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!
3x max push jerk – 1 @ 57lb, 3 @ 49lb, 4 @ 49lb
5 min AMRAP – 1x single-arm power snatch + 1x power clean + 1x jerk – 40 reps
Tabata plank
Derek
push jerks were with kg dumbbells
I would like to preemptively withdraw my AMRAP score. 1) I was hang power cleaning for at least 3 minutes and 2) after looking at the other scores there’s not a chance in hell I got as many as I counted. I had to have switched between counting complexes and reps at some point. [Frown]
