    This WOD made me regret the time off (and the crappy restaurant eating)!

    They really are renovating the hotel gym here- when I got there today, the equipment (what little there is) had been shoved into only half out. I really should take some pictures of the before and after. I asked the attendant what they were doing, and he said he thought they were getting more equipment and making the space bigger, and it might be ready in February. So, that’s exciting. Stay tuned.

      Forgot to mention- because they’ve “consolidated” the gym space, and because it seems some of my fellow hotel guests have made some new year’s resolutions, I had my largest audience yet tonight (it’s after 9pm here). And, once again, I was the only girl.

      It was kind of fun walking in front of the guys doing curls with 15- and 20-lb. dbs to pick up the 35s and start squat-cleaning them. I might have curled them once or twice just for fun. I only minded the fellows staring at me a little bit. Then I realized they were probably just checking out my ass.

    Great to be back at Crossfit MPH. I love starting the 2011 with DNF. This is why I love BK, Mel and John. They push me and us all to give the most. I have lots of area’s that I need to work on and this just motivates me to get back at it. 6AM motto “We do not cherry pick”
