I was supposed to do 400m runs, but the only two treadmills were taken by people that looked like they planned to be there for a while, so I subbed the row. Big mistake. Big. Huge. My legs are still completely trashed from the 150 thrusters on Sunday, and things sort of fell apart. I seriously considered quitting, but thankfully talked myself out of it.
I warmed up 10, 15 and 20-lb one-arm OHS, but could tell very quickly that the 20 wasn’t going to work. The 15s got ridiculous by round 3. Not awesome. And those two jerkwads were still on the treadmills when I left the gym, so I guess it’s a good thing I didn’t wait.
I did strict bodyrows, because I’m really worried about losing my pull-ups while I’m here, and I figure making the bodyrows as hard as possible (heh heh) might help me not lose too much strength. I’m putting the Smith machine bar on the second-to-lowest hook, and starting from a nearly-horizontal position. It’s mostly kicking my ass.

What is this new pull-up rule? I am intrigued.

Thanks to Mel for the extra coaching this morning! I’m still coming off of a cold from this weekend so I apologize for the piss poor attitude and the less than stellar performance. Will hopefully feel like myself tomorrow and do much better!
