    For the record, vis real world application of lifting moves, it is possible to power snatch a 120# case of striped bass. Thank you to the good people at Congressional Seafood who ship in reinforced 3 1/2 ft boxes with solid handles.

    Separately, I really love this week’s tag line. if you don’t fail, you don’t know where your edge is. So go ahead and fail, but next time, fail later, at heavier weight, or both.

    Despite being explicitly instructed to use my hips for the cleans, the cramped forearms in the third round suggest that I probably muscle cleaned a good number of these. Again.
