    I had intended to post on yesterday’s blog, but the day ran away from me, so I wanted to post on today’s blog and thank John, Mel, and BK for recognizing me. The truth is they are the ones who should be recognized. The kindness they have shown me has made my healing process manageable. They have given me a place where I feel physically capable. Their patience with me has been endless, and they always seem to know how to make me smile and remind me to get back to work. So John, Mel, and BK thank you. Thank you for holding me to a high standard of performance and for being incredible coaches.

    I also want to thank the MPH community for your support. You have been wonderful – asking me how I am feeling, making me feel part of the group, and being patient with my gimpy ass getting in the way of your WODs. ☺

    Thank you again for your compassion and support. It means so much to me.

      Caitlin, its so inspiring to see you at the box with your crutches, your cast and your smile! how we deal with injuries (and anyone serious about athletics WILL experience them) can reveal a lot about our character. keep up the awesome work!

    I saw a doctor yesterday about some recurrent lower back pain. I told him how much I was lifting the last time I tweaked my back. He replied that I had “exceeded my manufacturer’s recommendations.” Looks like it’s time to find a new doctor. . . .
