@Banneker with my fancy new Garmin 610 Forerunner

Felt very slow and totally died after the first three 200s…can definitely feel that I haven’t run for a while!

    Alissa,

Have you had any problems getting the 610 to recognize the difference between rest and repeats? Mine keeps treating everything as a running interval, even when I’m supposed to be resting.

It seemed to do it fine when I programmed it yesterday. Started counting down the 2 minutes rest once I hit 200m. (Which was longer than what the track said it was, btw.) Are you programming the rest intervals for time?

#172 (outside MPH, which is convenient 200m): 31, 32, 37, 35, 37, 36. Brrr!! First two felt easy, then ouch.

Yeah, I program them as rest. I am assuming it’s user error and not the watch. Thanks!

@MPH, 7am (glad I waited until today to run–it was 35 degrees outside instead of 18 like it was yesterday)

    3:04, 3:08

I went back and looked at the last 800s I ran back in October and this is actually a lot faster, so even though I feel kind of slow right now, it makes me feel like maybe I didn’t loose too much over the break.
