CP at the 2009 CrossFit Games.

Registration for the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games Open begins today!

Tabata Something Else
Complete 32 intervals of 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest where the first eight intervals are pull-ups, the second eight intervals are push-ups, the third eight intervals are sit-ups, and finally, the last eight intervals are squats. There is no rest between exercises.

This workout is scored by the total repetitions completed from all 32 intervals.

Compare results to November 5, 2010.

    OTB: “Tabata Something Else” subbing lat pull-downs for pull-ups: 301 (58+70+66+127)

    In a technological breakthrough, I figured out how to set up my Garmin to beep for Tabata intervals – way better than trying to watch a wall clock.

      If you’ve got an iPhone, there are several tabata/intervals timer apps for purchase in the app store. Probably on android too.

    Apparently registration doesn’t actually start until “this evening”, whatever that means.
