This weekend, from Friday, May 4 through Sunday, May 6, Christy P. will compete in the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Mid Atlantic Regional final at the Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex in Landover, MD. Our region includes athletes from Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Virginia and North Carolina. From a field of 60 women, only three will qualify for the 2012 Reebok CrossFit Games in Los Angeles, CA.

Her heat times (workouts) are:

  • Friday, May 4: Workout 1, 11:12a; Workout 2, 2:34p
  • Saturday, May 5: Workout 3, 10:58a; Workout 4, 3:54
  • Sunday, May 6: Workout 5, 8:50a; Workout 6, 1:45p

Please plan to make the short drive and spend part of this weekend with the MPH crew as we cheer on Christy!

    Gang: note that parking is going to be in Fed Ex Field Lot D. There should be signs. Here are the instructions from the website

    DRIVING DIRECTIONS

    The Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex is located adjacent to FedEx field in Landover, Maryland.

    Driving Directions:
    From I-95 take exit 17B (202 North towards Bladensburg). Make a left onto Brightseat Road. Make a right onto Sheriff Road. Make left at the first light (Harvey Drive). Drive up the hill onto the grounds of the Complex.

    No on-site Event Parking available. Proceed to Satellite Parking at FedEx Stadium Lot D. From main Complex entry parking assistants will direct traffic. Our main parking lot is only 300-yd walk from the complex. The site also includes more than 500 parking spaces; Call 301-583-2400 for directions to Satellite Parking.

    SATELLITE PARKING

    From I-95 take exit 17B (202 North towards Bladensburg). immediately get in left hand lane Make a left onto Brightseat Road, continue though first light. Road becomes Redskins Road. Brightseat Rd becomes Redskins Rd, once through light make an immediate right into Lot D3 & D4.
