Memorial Day Weekend – May 26 – 28, 2012

MPH will be closed from Saturday, May 26 through Monday, May 28 for the Memorial Day holiday. We will resume a normal workout schedule on Tuesday, May 29.

This weekend, remember the fallen, and consider those still standing. Visit our project of the last year, CrossFit Walter Reed (Facebook page). In your fitness—in life—think about can and can’t, willing and unwilling, and the differences among all four.

    “Murph” goes rowing

    I was at a gym here at the beach and decided to do murph in honor of Memorial Day. There were no treadmills to do the run so I did 1mile rows instead.

    I don’t recommend a 1mile row after 300 air squats.

      Told you can break murph up into rounds. Who knew? I could have done it faster because around 100 pushups in I hit a wall.

      Next time I’ll do 10 rounds.
