In case people aren’t on the MPH Facebook group I wanted to post on the MPH site. In an attempt for world domination I’m proposing to start an MPH volleyball team. Team registration closes on Monday 3/25 and games begin on 4/3. The teams are coed and games are played at Stead Park on P & 16 NW (just a few blocks from MPH!!). What if I’ve never played volleyball before? No biggie! This is a great opportunity to learn a new sport and see how ALL those wall balls, box jumps, and presses etc transfer.
What if I’m not tall like Dave O? You don’t need to be tall. You just need agility and hand-eye coordination. Also see above.
Who is Dave O? Who is Mayra? I only know the people that come to my regularly scheduled WOD time. Well come on down to Stead Park and meet those crazy a.m./p.m./noon WODers and you will get to actually talk during games and post game HH.
Uh Hello?! I’m super important and popular so I can’t commit to weekly games. It’s cool I get it, but you don’t have to be at EVERY game to be on the team. The games go in 2 heats that start around 6:30 and 8 and teams alternate start times each week.
