MPH will be closed from Monday, December 23 through Wednesday, January 1.
- This will be an important, prescribed rest for all of us, athletes and coaches, as there is no “off season” in our sport. Rest and recovery are essential to maintaining the mental and physical intensity required for long-term success. There will be no posted workouts during this time, and instead, a programmed break from all CrossFit activities.
- We will resume a normal workout schedule on Thursday, January 2, 2014.
As you enjoy your holidays, please take a moment to recall all the fantastic things that you accomplished in here in the last year—maybe a first pull-up or muscle-up, a completed race or competition, a forged friendship (or five) with a fellow athlete, or another special moment somewhere along the way. These are accomplishments that can’t be taken away or taken for granted—they are forever yours. And, be proud of your commitment to yourself—be proud that you are a CrossFit-ter. These workouts and tests are hard, and it is an incredible achievement to step to the bar every day and complete them.
Please rest, remember and look forward to 2014. It’s going to be awesome.
