The 2014 Reebok CrossFit Games Open begins this Thursday, February 27, and it concludes Monday, March 31—each workout announced on Thursdays. This year, we will complete the Open workout as Saturday‘s Workout of the Day! During this time, Saturday classes will be held at 8a, 9a, 10a and 12p (we will hold our 12p Free Beginners’ Workout in our upstairs space). If necessary, we will add extra classes—a 1p class, for example.
Due to the nature of these workouts, there is a chance we may need to allot extra time for a workout. If this occurs, we will send an email on Thursday night with new times for that Saturday’s classes. Each class will have a minimum of two heats so that you can score each other. If you are registered to compete in the Open, we prefer that you attend either the 9a, 10a or 12p classes if possible—please register for these classes now. If you are judging a registered competitor, you must complete the 2014 CrossFit Judges Course.
Everyone will be able to complete every workout, and we will warm-up and scale as normal. Even if you are not registered for the Open, you can attend class as normal at one of these times. And if you’re still unsure about competing, use this as an opportunity to sign up anyway—here!
