The Lou Workout At CrossFit MPH: Saturday, 1/25

We will complete The Lou Workout on Saturday, 1/25 in all classes! These classes will be 80 minutes in length, and involve a modifiable-for-all-levels partner workout of wall balls, single-arm dumbbell snatches, pull-ups and burpees. This workout benefits the Lou Gehrig Foundation, an organization that supports families affected by ALS, and helps fund ALS research to find treatments or cures for Lou Gehrig’s disease.
 
The Lou is personal to MPH-ers Rajeev, Patrick and Al, because in 2023 they lost one of their closest friends to ALS. They miss their friend John dearly. Doing this every year reminds them of their friend, and getting others to do it too spreads the love.
It’s Optional To Register For The Fundraiser Or Contribute
To do so, go to the CrossFit MPH team page here (this link DOES NOT work in Safari) and click the register button. Many of you have shared with us how you’ve also been personally affected by ALS – by registering, you’ll also have the option to create a personal fundraising page or you can direct your supporters to the MPH page to donate. Our goal is to raise $10,000! Also, to spread the word, please feel free to share your fundraising goal on social media with the hashtag #TheLouWorkout!
