“Murph” is a CrossFit Hero workout honoring Lt. Michael Murphy. CrossFit gyms around the world do this workout on or around Memorial Day to honor fallen service members. You can read his incredible story here. This workout is all about the grind–it will be long (by design) and will challenge your pulling, pushing, and squatting stamina, as well as your cardiorespiratory endurance. We will have options for ALL levels–be sure to come to class! This workout will take anywhere from 25-55 minutes, and is programmed for all classes on Wednesday, 5/21 and at 11am on Monday, 5/26 (Memorial Day)
Be sure to come to class 5-10 minutes beforehand. The warm-up will be short, and we want to make sure you are properly squared away with individual scaling options. Expect today to potentially run 5-10 minutes late in each class (while the next class warms up), as the final few finish up the second run section!
